More Party Games
My contest for most comments is still going on. How easy it is to win a bunch of FREE books! Just comment on any of the blog party posts!
And to make it easy for you to comment, let’s play a little game:
Use these five words (or derivatives) in a paragraph. And yes, it has to be a coherent paragraph.
Alert
Calculate
Ingenious
Protect
Crinkled
Any takers? I’ll give you double entries if you play along.

I awoke, for once alert as soon as I opened my eyes. I calculated how long it would take me to get ready as I stared into the mirror at my crinkled T-shirt and crinkled face, not to mention the hair. Beauty would have to wait. I didn’t really have an image to protect anyway. Other things were more important. I had to put my ingenious plan into action now. There was no time to waste.
March 8th, 2007 at 9:20 amAlert! The alien ship fired their missile, calculated as a direct hit to LA. The ingenious plan devised by the President to protect the people of the United States involved a machine that crinkled the outermost layer of the atmosphere, causing the missile to swerve from it’s course, speeding harmlessly off into space.
Do I get bonus points for using them in order?

What an ingenious idea! I’m glad my friend Christa alerts me to great contests and blogs like yours. However, I calculate it will take me at least 30 minutes to come up with my paragraph using your selected words. You see, my brain is wrinkled. I’ve tried to protect it and keep it healthy by taking vitamins and watching only educational type TV shows. Don’t know if it worked though. What do you think?
March 8th, 2007 at 10:22 pmUh oh… I said wrinkled when I should have said crinkled. Well… I guess those vitamins and educational TV shows aren’t working. LOL ROFLOL
March 8th, 2007 at 10:25 pmWell, Gina, I wasn’t very alert. I didn’t calculate the number of days for this party and I think I’m late. How ingenious of you to devise this contest! I hope I’m still egigible for the prizes. (I want to protect my chance of winning.)
March 9th, 2007 at 10:25 pmI’m feeling a little crinkled after a long week, but this little writing exercise has perked me up, thanks! Hugs, e-Mom
P.S. That’s eligible. (Does that count as two entries?)
