What I’ve Learned in 2008 and a Contest!
I’ve gathered together my 12 favorite posts, one from each month over the last year and would like to start the new year off with a contest. And since I’m competitve, so will this challenge be! It’s a simple “whoever comments the most” will win. Of course, since there are only 12 posts there can be several ties (assuming I have several readers
For the tie breaker, find one post not listed here and tell me why it’s one of your favorite. Last catch to the contest…write CONTEST 2009 BEFORE your comment so I know it’s for this contest. And what do you get besides hours of entertaining and insightful reads
I’ve accumulated a closet of giveaway items from books to toddler computer games and jewelry. So whatever it is, it’ll be like a second Christmas!
Contest closes on Friday, the 9th!

January 5th, 2009 at 7:09 pmHappy New Year! I like your debut post called “Letting Go” about your process of not writing! One of your loves. Have a super year…..Thanks, Cindi
January 5th, 2009 at 9:44 pmI really enjoyed your Universal and Disney Post. Our family went in 2001 and found the same to be true! The lodging wasn’t bad and we got a package deal which covered a lot of the meals and such. All of the extras were awful! Cindi

January 6th, 2009 at 9:32 amI just loved your post about your family’s tradition of writing letters to Jesus on Christmas Eve. This is a wonderful way to keep the reason of the season in the minds and hearts of our little ones — when mine are older (old enough to write, that is), I might just have to borrow this great idea!

What a wonderful idea for a contest. I really enjoyed reading and responding to your posts. So much so that i went back and read some more besides the ones you listed. I especially loved the Thank You Letters to Jesus post and consider it my favorite because I plan on using that tradition with my 5 year old to empasize that it is Jesus’ birthday. I also had to laugh over your Christmas Do Over post because you sounded so much like me. i definitely will have to return more often and read your insightful posts. Thank you! They were a breath of fresh air.
