October Letter from the founder and fellow Writer…Interrupted!

 Change is in the air! I can feel it in the cooling weather, but that’s not the only change I sense. I sense it in my personal and professional life as well! If you’ve been following my blog or my twitter updates, than you may have some idea of what a hectic month this has been with trying to pack up a home to sell before we move into our fixer upper. Well as of this month, we’re officially owners of TWO homes, but we’re hopeful and believing God our home will sell quickly.

Since returning from ACFW, I have a renewed desire to write and get on a good writing schedule. With an agent behind me and in front of me, I anticipate change in my writing life as well. I have lots of ideas and changes for Writer…Interrupted as well, but all in God’s time.

It’s amazing that through this all God’s peace has passed all my understanding. I couldn’t have said that a couple of years ago because peace wasn’t in my vocabulary at the time. Now I know what it means to trust in the Lord with all my heart and lean not on my own understanding. There are so many things about the last couple of months I don’t understand, and I don’t need to. God does and I’m so glad he has everything under control.

I pray this month finds you in a season of change for the better!  And that you come to know what it means to rest in God’s peace!
