Silent Sabbath Sundays
I’m trying something new in the effort to curb my blogging time. I’m going dark on Sundays. Yep, you heard it right. I’m not even going to turn on my computer. Gulp. I can’t believe I just wrote that.
I’ve noticed I’m slipping back into my old habits, running to the computer more than God. (At least I’ve learned to run to God before the computer, but if we matched compared hours the computer would win.)
So I leave you with this scripture to ponder and decide for yourself what this means to you. Be sure and share what God’s placed on your heart about this scripture or anything else!
Exodus 20: 8 Remember to dedicate the Sabbath day: 9 You are to labor six days and do all your work, 10 but the seventh day is a Sabbath to the Lord your God. You must not do any work-you, your son or daughter, your male or female slave, your livestock, or the foreigner who is within your gates. 11 For the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and everything in them in six days; then He rested on the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and declared it holy.
Be blessed on this Sabbath Sunday!
