Clutter Free Christianity by Dr. Robert Jeffress
“It’s time to cut through the clutter and get to the heart of what it means to please God. In this liberating look at the core principles of faith, Dr. Robert Jeffress reveals the truth about what God really wants from you–and what He wants to do for you.”
What I think:
Clutter Free Christianity is a refreshing look at why we Christians desire transformation, but never receive it. It’s an honest look that reinforced my thinking that God’s not just going to zap me and change me, it’s going to take work, from me, but through the transforming of my heart, it can be done.
Don’t get me wrong, this isn’t work based at all! It’s about bringing change to our lives through transforming the way we think and doing good things, changing bad habits to help God work in our hearts, to help us hear him better. I’ve only read the first 30 or so pages, but it has me thinking that after 40 years, change is really possible!
