Getting by with a Little of Help from my Friends

I’m just back from a ten day trip, so I’m still recovering mentally and physically, but I just wanted to give a shout out to my amazing critique partner in crime who  helped me stay a float at Writer…Interrupted. Ron Estrada  is off celebrating with his bride of 23 years in the Big Apple! He’s been instrumental in filling in when I’ve been AWOL and has done a super job where I’ve slacked! He deserves this vacation… just come home soon, okay, Ron!

I’d also like to give a shout out to all the strangers who turned into friends this past week, who put a roof over my head and provided me with a comfortable bed while Lindy Hopping, not to mention all the amazing leads I got to dance with and Lindy hop instructors. The MacLit marketing seminar seems like forever ago, but it was an wonderful time of reconnecting with old friends, making new ones, letting down my hair, and shaking my bootie on the dance floor AND I actually learned a thing or two about marketing!

Interruptions can be fun and a much needed break! What interruptions have you enjoyed lately?

From the day I received my first diary in the second grade, I've had a passion expressing myself through writing. Later as a journalist and novelist, I realized words, if used powerfully, have the ability to touch, stir, and reach from the depths of one soul to another. Today as a writing and health coach, I inspire others to live their extraordinary life and encourage them to share their unique stories.
