6 Month Novel Interrupted by the Super Bowl?

Well, not really… more like the 6 month novel was interrupted by the snow storm and a lack of planning and the Super Bowl, but I’ll get to all that later.

Today was the day my crit partner and I started our 6 month novel, starting with the “Idea to Premise!” We talked about it (a little,) and I planned out a vlog to do on Sunday for Monday (today’s post,) to start the week off (really, I did.) Then the snow hit Sunday morning, and I decided to call a snow day from church… which meant I didn’t have to get dressed, which put me in “clean the house/declutter mode,” which resulted in my listing and selling lots of stuff online while watching the Super Bowl (See, I worked the title in, go SEO) but it didn’t result in me (clears throat) showering, or dressing, or fixing my hair. Plus, Ron was AWOL somewhere, sucked into the SB commercials and commentary on FB… so with all that going on, there was no way I’d attempt a vlog I was already paranoid about. Can you say “hate to be on camera” and it would have taken me a million takes just to get one I didn’t cringe at. Seriously, a million!

Well, with that said, I will attempt a vlog this week and get back on 6 month novel schedule for next week (if the weather allows me to actually have a reason to get out of my sweats and fix my hair.) But in the meantime, I’m busy with my No Spending Month of Feb planning and budgeting with Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University. You can follow my progress on Facebook and join me for moral support.
