Why do we reward ourselves with food? Because it makes us feel good… until it doesn’t. You’re not a dog, don’t reward yourself with food. Break the old dieting mindset by learning NOT to reward yourself with food.
Instead, reward yourself with:
1. a refreshing walk in nature
2. new clothes that fit your new body and active lifestyle.
3. a massage
4. a nap
5. a soul stirring conversation with a friend
6. a new adventure or hobby
There are so many better ways to reward yourself for a job well done. Which one will you try the next time you’re pulled to use food as a reward?
