Creating Dynamic Characters Freebie and An Online Novel Writing Course

Over a decade ago, when I asked my kids’ school if I could teach creative writing, I never imagined it would blossom into what I’m doing today. If you didn’t know, I launched  my “Creative Education” store for teachers and homeschooler a while ago, and I offer online novel writing courses for kids, teens, and adults.

I started with a couple of classes at one school, then taught novel writing privately to teens. I pitched my original curriculum to the local college for their summer teen program, and that expanded into teaching my courses at a homeschool co-op.

There was no doubt my courses were popular, but I needed a better way to get them out to the public. That’s when I started putting my classes into a workbook form and the “P.L.A.Y. with Your Words” series was born. The first workbook is called “Release the Novel in You!” for preteens, teens, and adults.

In addition, I also have video courses, and my plan over the next few years is to get more online courses and workbooks out to help writers find their voice and tell their story.

What about my fiction? My goal is to get back to fiction once I have all my courses up and running. Then I will be free to focus on finishing my novels!
