No Room in Your Schedule?
Flexible Schedule Classes are the Answer!
I think it’s time to face the truth: Virtual Learning is here to stay. Even if you plan to attend classes in-person, chances are good that the classes will be recorded or live-streamed for those who cannot make it. But this is actually a good thing!
Even though our world has changed drastically over the past two years, we’ve been resilient and made it work for us with virtual learning. This has opened up a plethora of learning opportunities.
While some people will say they are busier than ever, others point out the control they now have over their schedule. And I want to help you keep control over your family’s busy schedule by offering Flexible schedule classes.
Flexible schedule classes allow your student to watch and learn on your time, in your space. Whether it’s at home during the day, at a coffee shop in the afternoon, or on-the-go in the car, you can easily fit them into your busy schedule. There is no better way to be sure your student is getting the education needed to reach his or her goals. The best thing is that you don’t have to wait for school to resume. These classes are already created and ready for students to join.
Did you know that a recent study published in the American Educational Research Journal states that students lose anywhere from 17-34% of what they learned the previous year over summer break? That’s 1.5 to 3 months of education! (https://www.nwea.org/blog/2021/summer-learning-loss-what-we-know-what-were-learning/) These Flexible Schedule classes offer a fun way for your student to keep their skills up-to-date during the summer, to avoid that deer-in-the-headlight look in the fall when school starts up again.
I’ve listed a few of my Flexible Schedule classes below for you to choose from. And remember: If you see a class you like, but the day/time doesn’t work for you, contact me! I have classes forming outside of Outschool as well, and would love to add your student to the roster. And don’t forget that I accept learning funds from EPIC, too!
