Routine Amnesia? I’ve Lost Track of the Days!

Sure, I know it’s New Year’s Day, but this morning when I woke and well into the late morning hours, I couldn’t tell you what day of the week it was. I thought it was Friday. Then I thought, well, maybe today is Thursday, but I wasn’t sure. Oh, come on. Admit it! You did the same thing. Or at least did it once over Christmas break.

Now that I’ve figured out what day it is, and that the school routine will be starting up on Monday, I can’t seem to remember anything else about my routine. Like what day of the week do the kids take their music and dance lessons? When am I supposed to carpool?

I love the break and I don’t mind having my kids at home. Especially since the unlimited game time on the Wii and DS, I hardly even know they’re home! But all good things must come to an end and I need to start thinking about my routine. How about you? Do you have routine amnesia?
