Daisy Chain

I don’t have a lot of time to do book reviews, but when I find one I really like, I just have to tell you about it. Daisy Chain by Mary DeMuth is a touching and haunting tale of childhood friends, tragedy and guilt. I won’t say more than that because I don’t want to give away the story, but it’s one boys journey to coming to terms with his life and loss. It is gripping and heart wrenching and redemption is woven through out the pages through the characters of Defiance. The ending left me yearning for more of Jed’s story and wanting to find out the real truth of what happened. I can only hope that the story continues in book two.
