Be Brave and Face Your Fear
Facing your fear is hard. But I think what’s harder is making brave choices that are in your best interest even though you are afraid. I remember telling my son when he was in college debating a change in his major “don’t make choices out of fear.” I learned that lesson the hard way. He was afraid, but followed his dream to Los Angeles and is happy and successful.
Sometimes we have to learn a lesson once or twice before we get it. Yet again, I’ve recently found myself in a cycle of holding on to something that isn’t serving me because I’m afraid to let go. But holding on to something and having no peace is too great a price to pay.
So I ask you today. Is there something you’re afraid of losing? Is it no longer serving you, but you’re afraid to let go? Are you making choices not in your best interest out of fear? It won’t be easy, but finally letting go will bring you peace and set you back on the right path towards happiness and success.
