Fresh Poke and Avocado Salad

Don’t complicate your meals! Simple can be delicious! Especially this fresh Poke and avocado salad.

For those on my fat burn health program:
Makes 2 servings
Per serving:
1 Leanest protein
2.5 greens
1.5 condiments
2 fats

Ingredients:

20 ounces sashimi grade ahi tuna (2 leanest)
½ cup (1.76 oz) finely chopped green onion (1 green)
2 tbsp soy sauce (2 condiments)
1 tsp chili sauce or Sriracha (1 condiment)
1 tbsp sesame seeds (1 healthy fat)
3 oz avocado, diced (2 healthy fats)
1 tsp sesame oil (1 healthy fat)
1/4 cup cilantro (1/4 condiment)
1/2 cup (1.59 oz) – sliced jalapeno option if you don’t like too much spice (1 green)

3 cups (4.5 oz) mixed salad greens (3 greens)

Directions:

First, cut the ahi tuna into small cubes and transfer them to a medium bowl. Next, add green onions, soy sauce, sesame oil, chili sauce and sesame seeds. Mix well to ensure that the tuna is coated evenly in the sauce mixture. Then, gently mix in the avocado, jalapeno, cilantro and salad greens, and you’re ready to eat!
