If you keep water on your bed stand and drink it first thing in the morning, not only are you helping to hydrate before your coffee or tea, but it will wake up your digestive track, promote good bowel movements and give you energy. You can also sip through the night if you get thirsty.
2. When you’re get hungry or feel like snacking, reach for a glass of water first. Not only will it fill you up so you eat less, but it give you energy during that midday slump.
3. Drink before your meals. Drinking water at least a half hour before a meal will not only help fill you up, but it will aid digestion.
4. Sip throughout the day. Sipping throughout the day may work better for you then guzzling a full glass every few hours. To make it easier to sip all your water, try using a glass with a straw. Straws make it easier than a twist cap and more convenient.
